  2. OPTIONS MENU HELP
  3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

  5. The Options menu allows you to toggle between certain options
  6. relating to video and audio display of the Worksheet and its
  7. contents.
  8.  
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  10. Show                                              
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.  
  13. Allows you to either display formulas or the formula's value as the
  14. contents of a Worksheet Cell.
  15.  
  16. Default option is Value
  17.

  19. Cell Note Output/Display                          
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.  
  22. A Cell Note for a particular Cell is accessed by pressing the HELP
  23. Key.  Three options are available for Cell Note output:
  24.  
  25. *  Text Only - displayed in a Requester with an OK button
  26. *  Speech Only - output via the Amiga's voice facility
  27. *  Both Text and Speech
  28.  
  29. Default option is Text Only.

  32. Wordstar Keys                                     
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  35. If the Wordstar Keys option is on, you can move the Active Cell by 
  36. using the following control keys:

  40.        Control  with S     Move Active Cell LEFT
  41.        Control  with D     Move Active Cell RIGHT
  42.        Control  with E     Move Active Cell UP

  45. Protection                                        
  46. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  48. When the Protection is Enabled, all Cells formatted as Protected
  49. under the Format Menu will not allow you to alter their contents.
  50. When Protection is Disabled, all Cells may be changed regardless
  51. of their protection formatting.

  53. Default option is Off.

  56. Freeze Titles                                     
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.  
  59. Freeze Titles allows you to scroll throughout the Worksheet while
  60. leaving the any number of Row and Column labels or data in view
  61. for easy identification.  Freeze Titles has four options:
  62.  
  63. *  None - no freezing of Rows or Columns
  64. *  Horizontal - all Rows above the site of Freezing remain
  65.    displayed when vertical scrolling is enabled
  66. *  Vertical - all Columns to the left of the site of Freezing
  67.     remain displayed when horizontal scrolling used
  68. *  Both - all Rows above and Columns to the left of Active Cell 
  69.    remain displayed when window is scrolled in either direction.

  71.    Default option is None.

  74. Keyboard Echo                                     
  75. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  77. When Keyboard Echo is ON, all keystrokes are spoken via the Amiga's
  78. voice facility as they are keyed in.

  80. Default option is OFF.

  83. Display Grid

  86. If Display Grid is turned on, a grid of  horizontal and vertical grid
  87. lines will be displayed in the Worksheet window.

  92. Return Key

  95. Controls the movement direction of the Active Cell when the Return
  96.  Key is pressed.  Three options are available:

  98. *  Doesn't Move - No movement of the Active Cell 
  99. *  Move Down - Moves down one Row
  100. *  Move Right - Moves over one Column
  101.  
  102. Default option is Move Down.

  105. Calc Order                                        
  106. ---------------------------------------------------------------------

  108. Determines the order that Plan/IT  evaluates Cells during a
  109. recalculation.  Three options are available:
  110.  
  111. *  Natural - in order referred to by Formulas
  112. *  Row by Row - evaluates across first Row, then second Row, etc.
  113. *  Column by Column - evaluates down first Column, the second
  114.    Column, etc.
  115.  
  116. Default option is Natural.

  119. Set Password                                      
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  122. Displays a Requester for keying in a Password.  Only one Password
  123. can be specified per Worksheet.  A Cell must be formatted with
  124. Password from the Format Menu.  When the Worksheet is saved, closed,
  125. and then reopened, the Cells formatted with Password are hidden
  126.  by --------.  To reveal these Cells, the Worksheet user must access
  127. the Set Password command and key in the correct Password in order
  128. for the cell's contents to be displayed.  These same Cells will
  129. also be formatted for Protection.  Thus to alter their contents,
  130. Protection must be disabled on the Options Menu.

  132. Default option is OFF.

  135. Set Currency                                      
  136. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  137.  
  138. Displays Requester to specify both a leading and a trailing currency
  139. symbol.  To display data as currency, the Range of Cells must be
  140. formatted with Currency under the Format Menu.
